2. Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology AI

Radiology and imaging AI tools apply computer vision and deep learning models to CT, MRI, X-ray, PET, and ultrasound studies to detect and prioritize time-critical findings — such as stroke, pulmonary embolism, intracranial hemorrhage, and cervical spine fractures — often before a radiologist has even opened the study. These tools plug into existing PACS/RIS infrastructure and re-order radiologist worklists so the most urgent cases are read first, plus route real-time alerts to on-call specialists (e.g., a stroke neurologist) to shrink door-to-treatment time. Beyond acute triage, a second tier of tools (Tempus, PathAI, Paige) fuses imaging with genomic, pathology, and clinical data for oncology and precision medicine. Nearly all leading products carry multiple FDA 510(k) clearances and are sold as enterprise, per-site or per-scan-volume annual subscriptions that typically start in the tens of thousands to $100K+ per year — there is essentially no self-serve or free tier in this category because these tools function as regulated medical devices integrated deep into hospital infrastructure.
