These tools join (or silently record) a Zoom/Teams/Meet session, produce a transcript, and then use AI to generate a summary, extract action items with owners, and — increasingly — let you 'ask' the meeting questions afterward the way you'd query a chatbot ('what did we decide about the launch date?'). For project managers who run standups, stakeholder reviews, and steering committees back-to-back, this is often the single highest-leverage AI adoption: it removes note-taking entirely, produces a more complete record than a human note-taker would, and feeds directly into RAID logs and status reports.
