1. AI Coding & Vibe-Coding / Prototyping Tools
These tools let Product Managers and designers turn a plain-language idea directly into a working prototype or piece of software, without waiting on engineering capacity. "Vibe coding" describes the practice of describing what you want in natural language and having an AI agent generate, run, and iterate on real code — HTML/React front ends, full-stack apps with databases and authentication, or command-line automation. For a Products team this collapses the gap between an idea sitting in the backlog and a clickable, testable artifact you can put in front of users or stakeholders the same day. The category splits into three flavours: terminal/IDE-based coding agents built for developers and technical PMs (Claude Code, Cursor), browser-based UI-to-code generators aimed at fast front-end prototyping (v0), and full-stack "describe it and it's built" app builders aimed at non-engineers (Lovable, Replit Agent). The tradeoff across all of them is the same: speed and accessibility versus production-readiness — most outputs are strong for MVPs, demos, and validation, but need engineering review before they carry real customer traffic.
