Research & Writing (Chatbot)
General-purpose AI chatbots (like Claude and ChatGPT) function as an all-purpose thinking partner for marketers: drafting copy, summarizing research, brainstorming campaign angles, analyzing survey or customer data, and answering ad-hoc questions in natural language. Unlike dedicated copywriting platforms, these tools are not marketing-specific out of the box, but their flexibility and reasoning ability make them useful across almost every stage of a campaign — from early strategy and competitive research through to drafting briefs, scripts and reports. Many now support persistent 'projects' or memory features that let a team anchor a conversation with brand guidelines, prior campaign data or uploaded documents, reducing the need to re-explain context every time. Because they are conversational, they also lower the skill barrier for non-writers to produce usable first drafts. The trade-off is that general chatbots typically need more careful prompting and human review than specialized marketing tools, and heavy use can run into usage limits or higher subscription tiers.
